Chemical Red / Bio

It all began with a chance ad on Craigslist. Jason Fubler had been searching for a singer for several months. He heard a vocalist on Baltimore's music compilation Bring on the Mob. The band was Cold Harbour and the vocals were amazing. Jason said "I'm gonna find this guy and steal him." Jason put an ad on Craigslist and the stars began to align. Mark Richey (vocalist/guitar for Cold Harbour) was searching for a new project as well, saw the ad on Craigslist, and made the call. What are the chances of that happening? Mark had already been working on the Chemical Red project, so he and Jason agreed to get together and see what might happen. After jammin together for a very short hour, two songs emerged. The magic was undeniable. It was too much of a coincidence to ignore. Chemical Red's song HOLLYWOOD SCARS was already receiving some national AirPlay so they decided to keep the name Chemical Red. Both Jason and Mark were the driving forces behind their former projects. Jason comes from AGENTS OF THE SUN, a band that had a record deal with DCIDE RECORDS (Nothingface/Trust Company/Cherrywine) and had been touring the country with the likes of 311, Papa Roach, Unwritten Law, Three Days Grace, Trapt, and every other rock band you can think of. He also had 2 songs he wrote gain national AirPlay around the country, as well as one of his songs (Sincerely Yours) make it to #7 on the DC101 Top Ten at Ten Countdown, edging out Radiohead, Chevelle, and Trapt. Mark has had Hollywood Scars receive national AirPlay, as well as touring with the likes of Parabelle, Taproot, Halestorm, and many others. Now there are two songwriting powerhouses in one project. THE SKY IS THE LIMIT SO STRAP ON IN AND JOIN US ON THIS RIDE!
