JUNI MOON BIO
Juni Moon is an award winning rock guitarist who has played many world renowned venues.
Juni's musical journey started in 1978 in Harlingen, Texas; a small town in the Rio Grande Valley near the Mexican border. Juni set out to learn to play guitar after hearing a KISS song on the radio. Things moved pretty fast from there as he discovered playing guitar came easy to him. A Pat Travers concert in 1979 cemented his life's path.
Juni moved to Los Angeles at a young age where he performed with his bands in venues on the Sunset Strip. One of the highlights (from this period) was opening for Quiet Riot with the original line up that included Kevin Dubrow.
Juni accomplished many of his goals in music, such as recording an album and getting radio play before taking a long break.
Starting in the spring of 2015, Juni Moon began recording his debut (demo) EP titled "TASTY LICKS".
The first track, "Dizzy", was released on social media that summer and immediatly began trending.
Juni set out on a summer tour in support of the new demo and was well recieved by rock fans in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Juni plays an energetic, explosive, guitar driven set, featuring the songs from his "Tasty Licks" EP.
The demand for Juni's live performances is on the increase and his popularity grows every day.
**Note of interest: In the mid to late 80's, Juni's bands opened for bands like; Quiet Riot, Bullet Boys, Ronnie Montrose....and many more.
