Black Juniper Consists of Jenny Lee on vocals and rhythm guitar, Chris Reed on lead guitar, Eric Skutch on the bass, and Rocky Clark on the drums. From all areas of the country, they have gathered in the Hood River area, with a love for the mountain, the river, and music. Jenny has written her own original songs and has finally been able to team up with talented and like minded musicians to create a very soulful and funky sound. Hard to describe, its been called blues music with soul, or a funk folk rock combination. No matter what genre people choose to use, the music can make anyone fill a dance floor, serenade a dinner party or wine tasting. What started as a band to learn previously written songs of Jenny's, is now growing into a collective effort of creating and writing brand new songs at an impressive pace. Only a few months old, Black Juniper has already played all over the Hood River valley area and has a growing fan base of friends and music enthusiasts. Their soul and passion for putting purpose and fun into the shows they play and the songs they write, it really has been an honor to share the art with people who appreciate it. With a focus on positivity, love, funky beats, and heartfelt ballads, the music should remain genre-less, and the audience is as vast as could be. This is just the beginning, and the future is so bright. In deep gratitude, we present, BLACK JUNIPER!
