To quote Kira Annalise:
"Every time I'm lucky enough to be on stage, its like falling in love all over again"
Love, and it's painful trials and tribulations make for incredibly descriptive, heartbreak - honky tonk songs. Through late nights managing a bar, and early mornings with a baby, Kira Annalise discovered her calling. Teaching herself a few guitar chords, she became immersed in the poetry of Waylon, Merle, and Junior Brown, and began gaining support for her originals from local, established and seasoned musicians. One fellow player was overheard saying, "you can hear the tears" when Kira delivers one of her own songs. She writes about breakups that will make you cry, being happy that someone is finally gone, battered women, and mesmerized men. As her music has touched the hearts of listeners, so it has with her fellow musicians who combined their resources of vintage instruments, recording facilities, and raw talent to produce a debut CD that will stand the test of time.
