Mike Apsey / Bio

Here you'll find narrative interpretations (covers) of popular songs, original music made with the help of loops, and some original vocal compositions, several with Folk overtones.

Back in 2002, I was an artist named "Moik" on a music sharing site called "Acid Planet." I am honored to have had the #1 song in All Generes at one time with my "Use Headphones," found here as the final entry in my song list. It was inspired by Baz Lurhmann's "Use Sunscreen."

If you're an older visitor, you may also enjoy my yearly Top-40 collage compilations 1940-1990 inclusive. Song snippet lists appear in the Lyrics pane. Disclaimer: Many song years were best guesses although I tried my best. Please don't take them as definitive nor authoritative compilations.

I've included narrative impressions of my visits to Busch Gardens and collages of the music once used in two Live park shows, "Moroccan Roll" and "American Beat."
