RetConStruct (Retroactive Continuity Construct) brings together melodic metal and cinematic soundscapes with lyrics that invite the audience past end of this world and the edge of imagination. Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Horror all come together in each story told through the songs.
Their debut album Dear Doomsday (2012) was an electronic tidal wave, heavily science fiction inspired and fit for the dancefloor. Upcoming sophomore album Denizens of the Depths (2014) keeps those roots and expands with themes pulled from mythology and a growth in style, incorporating guitar driven tracks and increased symphonic elements.
2013 also took the band from recording artists to performing artists. Several concerts along the USA west coast unfolded, spanning from Seattle, WA, to Tijuana, MX with great success in LA. RetConStruct became ready to rock further with the addition of live band members on drums, rhythm and bass guitar.
2014 starts out strong with signing to their new record label Pavement Entertainment with the distribution powerhouse of Sony RED to spread the doomsday message farther than ever before with a two album deal.
