“BulletProof” was formed on January 16, 2012 as a hard rock band from the metro-Detroit area. Guitarist Ryan Ryngaert and drummer Joe Rubino played in other bands together before starting BulletProof. After a few months in progress, Vince Rubino joined the band as the bassist. Their search for a frontman proved successful by landing Josh Coates’ vocal style. Continuing their quest to rock, BulletProof recorded out of Wales Michigan with B.J. Perry (The Product) at Wall of Sound Studio. Their first single, with the current line-up, “Walk Away”, was featured on radio stations in multiple states and has been featured on Untappedradio, tapdetroit, socialnetworkradio, and many College radio stations in addition to being one of the most requested songs on The Homeboy Show on 89X. BulletProof was also nominated for BAND OF THE YEAR on Banana 101.5 in 2012. BulletProof got off to a quick start in 2013, releasing their second single, "Until We Break", on January 4. The song has already been featured on many internet radio stations. Currently writing new material, and performing live, their debut E.P. is set to be released in summer 2013.
