With their roots in the deep woods of northern Sweden, Crash n Recovery's original music has brought them wings. Nominated for Best European Act by British CMA Awards 2014 and winners of Sveriges Radio's Svensktoppen Nästa Västernorrland. Their honest and heartwarming music has been played on radio all over the world and they've been featured on a local TV show in Nashville on several occasions. Three of their single's have done very well on the European Country Chart Top 40 with a peak at #10.
Crash n Recovery create a perfect fusion of traditional/alternative Country Music and contemporary Americana. To stay connected to their own roots, their Scandinavian heritage is also thrown into the mix through folk music, contributing to their signature sound.
Crash n Recovery's greatest strength, would be as a live act; giving their all on stage; sharing joy, sorrow, passion and sweet melancholy with the audience. The band like to keep it raw n real, hence the use of live, acoustic instruments on stage; upright bass, banjo, acoustic guitars, fiddle, mandolin, accordion and drums (and an occasional pedal steel or dobro)... and they do all the writing, arranging, recording, producing and performing themselves. Since the band started out in 2012 they've been busy touring in Europe, playing mostly at festivals, sharing stages with artists such as Leann Rimes, Buffy Sainte Marie, Doug Seegers, The Kilkenny's, Tupelo, Bob Wayne, Ten Years After and many, many more.
Crash n Recovery have released an EP called "The Word" and their debut album "Post the storm" in 2012 and in September this year they will be releasing their second album "Deep in the woods" in a collaboration with Rootsy.
