Patti and the Boys play an incredible blend of Americana music including Bluegrass, Vintage swing, Gypsy jazz , Folk and Acoustic Blues. Always entertaining, they create an intriguing tapestry of musical sounds.
They have been pioneers of Bluegrass music in Brevard county Florida for over 20 years. So it is no surprise fans can hear the influence of traditional bluegrass in their music. The band is also equally at home playing other styles of American music including vintage swing, folk and blues. The band is made up of Patti Sanzone on lead vocals and guitar, Frank Sanzone on harmony vocals, 5 string banjo, mandolin and guitar. Gary Mousseau on upright bass and Bill Endy on fiddle.
Their current album, Under The Covers was released in July 2012 on Studio32 Records and certainly showcases the talents of this group including songwriting and instrumental playing in a variety of genres.
The band began in 2001 as the Acoustic Alliance Band releasing two CD recordings. “ The Sunshop” and “ Live at Bluesbobro”. For their ten year run The Acoustic Alliance band played all around Florida including most of the major music festivals. Patti, Frank and Gary emerged out of the AAB as The Patti and Frank Trio.
Besides many festival performances in Florida and other states The Patti and Frank Trio performed at Murdocks Bistro in Cocoa Village Florida every Wednesday night for over six years. When Fiddler Bill Endy joined the band during the Murdocks performances the band became Patti and the Boys.
Let them introduce you to some very cool authentic music both old and new. No hype, real music, real instruments.
