As a baby, Sara Vail refused to be rocked to sleep, preferring to sing to herself in her crib until she drifted into a peaceful, blissful slumber. Not much has changed. She loves singing even when she's the only one to hear, and she still loves good, dreamy slumber (10 hours at a time if people will leave her to it).
Classically trained in violin and a former NOCCA student, Sara Vail swiped a ukulele from her brother's car not so long ago and hasn't put it down since. Eventually, she had to give that particular uke back and get her own. Now, she's rarely seen about town without her little buddy and her faithful followers who can't seem to get enough of her raw, organic sound; a unique sound, evoking such comments as "she is very interestingly talented and deserves the chance to be heard by a diverse audience."
