Brian Elmore / Bio

Brian Elmore is an independent singer/songwriter and recording artist from Southern Indiana. 

Brian regularly performs at a local clubs and parties, as an acoustic solo act and also with his full band, BIG STEEL TRAIN”. Brian’s originals works have a definitive country/southern rock feel blended with thought provoking lyrics and memorable hooks. Brian's show normally consists of three, one hour sets with two 30 minute breaks. The setlist consists of today's hottest country hits as well as classics from the Legends of Outlaw and Country music. Brian also throws in his original material to fill out the night.

Brian self released his first single, On A Beach Somewhere, in October 2012, quickly selling out of the limited production run in the first few weeks. Relatively unknown at the time, Brian's fan base and popularity has since grown steadily. Positive response from the single release prompted Brian to invest in a full length album release. "Get Your Country On" hit the streets in May 2014.

Brian released his second single, Countryhood in December 2013 on iTunes and in limited run hard copy in January 2014. Brian was personally invited to perform Countryhood at the Reclaim America Now rally in Washington DC in November 2013 and was received with standing applause and adoration by the crowd.

The August 2013 issue of Today's Woman Magazine listed Brian Elmore as one of 21 men in Louisville you must know.

Brian was a featured performer at the Indiana State Fair in 2013, and the only local artist to have a two day booking.

Brian recently appeared on the local WHAS11 morning show, Great Day Live, with his band, Big Steel Train.

Local radio station WFTX 93.1 The Fox regularly spins Brian's songs during the Sunday local show.

Brian wrote and recorded his song “Moonshine” for consideration by Discovery Channel for their Moonshiners TV show theme song.

Big Steel Train is an A List country cover band and the support band for country recording artist Brian Elmore. This is high energy dance entertainment at it's best. Big Steel Train plays today's hottest country hits from artists like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Blake Shelton and more and then sweetens the night with hits from legendary artists like Johnny Cash, Tim McGraw, George Jones, David Allen Coe and more.
