Remotejazz is the music of Robert L. Bryant. A small business owner, keyboard player, composer, vocalist and producer based in Frederick, Maryland. Bob's love of music has led him to express himself through the Contemporary Jazz genre. His biggest influences to date have been: Paul Hardcastle, The Jazzmasters, Rick Braun, Richard Elliott, Peter White, Paul Brown, Chris Botti and Soul Ballet. Jazz is Bob's forte, but he is also influenced by Electronic music, World Music, and Dance. Acts like ATB, Taucher, Tangerine Dream, The Pet Shop Boys, Secret Garden, David Arkenstone, Mark Isham, Everything But The Girl, St. Germain, Chicane, Amethystium, and Liquid Mind are artists that also inspire him. Since Bob's debut CD entitled "Remotejazz", was released in September of 2010, he has worked diligently in creating a unique style of blending jazz and electronic sounds. Professional critics have compared his music to great artists like 9 Lazy 9, Amon Tobin, Boney James, Rick Braun, Funki Porcini, Mr. Scruff and the incomparable Paul Hardcastle. His most recent project was released in December of 2013, "Through the Eye of the Storm", which chronicles his continuing journey to find peace and prosperity through faith. Bob is joined on the CD by fellow artist and saxophone player "Dave Jarvis", where they have collaborated on creating the internet sensation "As I Have Loved You". Bob is owner of his own label and audio production company Key Music Productions, LLC.
He is currently in his studio working on a new full length CD release entitled "Hungry Spirit".
