The Three Way is a powerful Rock & Roll trio from Sacramento, California. The members are Andrew James (drums), Joel Case (Bass) and Justin Forcione (guitar). With common interests in Blues, Jazz, Rock & Roll, Punk, and Experimental Jam music, the three came together. Since their launch in early 2012 they have pulverized nearly every venue and club in their area and beyond. They produced a four-track EP (with help from some friends), and their self-titled full-length LP was released April 12, 2014. This is all foreplay. You will move. And with any luck leave the show feeling a little more... dirty.
From The Stream:
Local rock band The Three Way - quite appropriately a trio (vocalist / guitarist Justin Forcione, bassist / vocalist Joel Case, drummer Andrew Mundy) - are celebrating the release of their debut EP with a show at Midtown Barfly (formerly Club 21) on Thursday, Dec. 13. The Old Screen Door and Honyock will join them, rounding out the bill with a total of three great local rock bands. All about the threes baby!
Anyways, The Three Way can really bring it. Their versatile sound has seen them gigging at just about every venue in the region with everyone from punk bands, to jam bands, to rock bands alike. A little bit The White Stripes, a little bit The Devil Makes Three, The Three Way is for anyone who digs good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll.
“It’s a compilation of four hard-hitting songs expressing our diversity as a band,” Forcione recently told Submerge of their new EP, witch was recorded over the summer at Alley Avenue Studios with Ira Skinner. ZuhG’s J.R. Halliday co-produced and also performed on the EP. “It’ll make ya Move,” says Forcione.
