My uncle Gabriel gave me my first guitar, a 1970 Ventura acoustic guitar, at the age of 9. I learned how to play it by ear with no formal training. I play and write from the heart. I have been writing for about 20 years.
The songs below are just a sample. I was a little nervous when I recorded Never Alone Never Again and How I Am. I will hit the studio soon to replace them. My brother Michael introduced me to this site. I'm glad he did. Thank you for having faith in me.
I am from Houston, Texas. I live in Spring just outside Houston in Harris County. I have lived in Springfield, Missouri and Ballston Lake, New York just outside of Clifton Park. At this time I am a 17 year veteran and Supervisor in Law Enforcement in Harris County. Music has kept me grounded with all I do and see. I put music aside for my career, but decided to pursue it again with the help from James Goodson (Drumer) and Jessica Garcia (Lead Guitar and Bass Guitar).
I grew up listening to Eddie Rabbit, George Straight, The Commendores and Vincente Fernandez. I fell in love with Rock n Roll with influences from Dokken, Slaughter, and the Rolling Stones. When I lived in Missouri I discovered how country music touches the soul when I visited Branson, Missouri. I was hooked. I have been told I give country music some grunge rock sound.
I have a vast array of influences ranging from Hip Hop to Country from Rock n Roll to Mariachi. What can I say? If you love music truely love music you will love and appreciate all types of music and its art form.
I hope you enjoy my music. I want my music to take you back in time or appreciate the one you love or lost. I have a lot of it to share. Life is worth living don't blink or it will pass you by ! ! ! Special thanks to Edward Ramirez for teaching me how to play the guitar and encourgaging me to following my dreams...
