Hello, my name is Stacy Wilson. I was born on August 10th, 1973, in a small town called Fort Ogelthorpe, Georgia. I was born into a very musically inclined family. I started singing Southern Gospel at the age of 9 years old. It was my dad, mom, sister and me. We were known as the Hasty’s. We traveled all over the United States singing in churches and other events. In 1989, we won a talent contest and a recording contract with the Eddie Crook Co. We traveled for 25 years. Mom and dad’s health declined and they had to come off the road. My heart didn’t want to quit singing and everyone told me I should be doing country. I have been told that I could sing the phone book if I wanted to..lol. Country music has always been in my blood and I have always dreamed of a career in country music. I entered a singing competition in Nashville, TN at the Nashville Palace and James Breedwell (well established song writer in Nashville) was one of the judges. I sung “Broken Wing” by Martina McBride and James was very impressed and said there was no reason I shouldn’t have my own album. He asked if I had any originals and I had to say no. Now I do and I’m ready to share my gift with the world. I know if given the opportunity, I can touch people with my music. Some of my influences include Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, Reba McEntire and Shania Twain.
