Jacqueline has been performing on stage since she was seven years old where she won second place in a local talent show. She continued to pursue her passion for singing with talent shows and through involvement in choir. Jacqueline discovered another way to get stage time when she fell in love with theater in high school. She continued to take the stage in college when she was awarded scholarships for music and theater. She landed her favorite role of all time at the age of twenty when she was chosen to play the role of Patsy Cline in the production of "Always Patsy Cline." Jacqueline also performed at Six Flags St. Louis in the "Rockin Country" show where she was awarded best female show performer for the year 2010. In the fall of 2010, Jacqueline auditioned for the Cornbread Idol singing contest hosted by 92.3 WIL. Once the contest began the weeks passed as contestants dwindled down and she came closer and closer to winning a trip to Nashville to perform on the famous Tootsies stage on Tootsies 50th anniversary weekend. With the help of family, friends, and the St. Louis community, Jacqueline won the Cornbread Idol contest and took her life changing trip to Nashville Tennessee. Jacqueline did not win the next round that took place in Nashville but she got a taste of music city and it fueled her desire to chase her dreams like never before. In June 2011 Jacqueline tried out with 12,000 other hopefulls when American Idol came to St. Louis Missouri. She charmed the judges and with three yeses she got her golden ticket to Hollywood along with 49 other simifinalists.
