Robert McGraw (lead vocals)
Robert McGraw has been performing for listening audiences since the age of 7. Over that time, he has performed on the Opry circuit (including 4 appearances on Johnny High’s Country Music Revue). A natural singer/songwriter, Robert McGraw spent several years doing demo work for various songwriters around North Texas, as well as two trips to Nashville for demo sessions for the songwriters there. A semi-finalist on the first season of Nashville Star, Robert has reincarnated his former band and will be heading to the studio to cut his first all original EP in the beginning of 2012.
Larry Patton (guitar / vocals)
Over the last twenty-five years, Larry has shared the stage with some of the top entertainers in the music industry; performing all across Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arizona, and several shows in Europe. He has made regular appearances on such local music shows as the Fort Worth Music Scene and the Terry Awards. Larry is a consumate musician who is always listening to new sounds and playing from the heart.
Nathan Coates (drums)
Nathan has just returned to the Dallas/Ft Worth area after extensive international traveling for the past 2 years performing on the main stage of Royal/Celebrity cruise lines with various guest entertainers from around the world in South East Asia, Northern Europe, Panama Canal, South America, US, Hawaii and the Caribbean. Nathan has performed with such artists as Linda Davis, Larry Gatlin, Keith Anderson, Steve Holy, Lee Ann Rymes, Box Car Willie, and Barbara Fairchild just to name a few. Nathan is an in demand drummer both live and in the studio and brings his 20+ years of experience and talent to The Band McGraw.
Jonathan Wren (bass / vocals)
From his first, plastic string guitar at age 5, Jonathan Wren knew that he was meant to pursue a career in music. Playing with the “big boys” by age 12, A second generation bass man, Jon has played all over DFW, Weatherford, & Mineral Wells. Over the years, he has played with such bands as: Weatherford Station, Sundance, and many others as his musical ability has grown to suit many different groups.
Robbie Lee (guitar)
Born in Longview, Texas, Robbie attended SFASU as a music major. After several years of touring the Southwest with various rock groups, he joined the band of country singer Johnny Rodriguez. Later he served as lead guitarist/band leader for Clay Walker for 3 years. Over the years Robbie has played on hundreds of recording sessions and has toured both nationally and internationally. He has also performed onstage with many artists including Tracy Byrd, Perfect Stranger, Mark Chesnutt, Rudy Gatlin, Buddy Jewell, and Bobby Bare.
