Sukie Conley was raised in "the region" of Indiana. Always a writer, in the summer of 2008 she picked up a friend's guitar and began playing, exploring the ranges of her voice, and putting her words to music. Later, she decided to take her music outside the confines of her living room couch and let others in on the fun. Sukie’s work seeks a sound that is constantly revelatory and at the same time familiar and real. To listen to her songs is to walk around inside of them and come out feeling at home and refreshed. Strong, beautiful, clear, coy, and curious vocals paired with her growing body of relentlessly original songs and confident approach to the guitar are the elements that cause her music to stand out. Fueled by good vibrations and the desire to create, Sukie released her first EP, Part I: Home in December of 2011, and can now be found playing throughout the Midwest.
