I grew up on a farm in Southern Minnesota. I am the youngest of four and the only girl. I love my family and the farm, but I never saw myself spending my life on the farm. Since I was young I was involved in piano, dance, 4-H, and every sport possible. I always loved singing karaoke, making up songs and dances. I remember seeing the music video for "Any Man Of Mine" by Shania Twain when I was just five, I knew right then and there that I wanted to be involved with music! You can hear Shania's influence in my music, but I'd like to say I'm a cross between Kelly Clarkson and Miranda Lambert with a twist of Angie. You'll hear me sing anything from "You Make Glitter Rain On Me, " which has a Kelly vibe to songs like "Cut Loose," which has the shooting guns, drinking whiskey, Miranda Lambert vibe. Then there is the more passionate side of me, my heart is revealed in songs like "He Smiles." I have never been confined to one type of music or one style. I'll show you every side of me, good or bad! I have nothing to hide.
My musical journey includes a pit stop at college for a music degree. Oh jeez, college was fun! But getting a college degree will not be the greatest achievement in my lifetime. I've always had big dreams and I’ve never let those dreams go. Even throughout college, I dreamed of coming to Nashville and being a singer. I guess I always knew deep down where I belonged. Here I am now, in Nashville and I couldn't be happier.
So what now? Well, I'm continuing to pursue my dreams in Nashville. I'm working on a radio tour, and getting out on the road over the next year. I am also passionate about helping people. I've been working on putting together some benefit concerts that I'm very excited about. I care about people and I want to do everything in my power to make this world a better place for everyone. I feel very blessed to be sharing my talents with the world. Thank you for reading this and thank you for the support.
