Aaron Schumacher is a singer, musician, arranger, and educator based in Los Angeles. Whether supercharging a performance or preparing high quality musical components for other artists, Aaron has built a reputation as an unbridled stage energy, talented multi-instrumentalist, and studio fluent personality.
Growing up a sweet Texan boy with a bit of a punk streak in small town Ennis, Texas, Aaron found his musical bearings exploring polka and traditional Czech music with his father, who is also a musician, before going on to study music at the university level. As a lively personality with a taste for the eccentric, Schumacher has entertained professionally across a bright spectrum of musical adventures: from pop to polka, bebop to beatbox, rock to rap, acapella to avant-garde...as well as with jazz, electronic, country, indie, Latin, and barbershop artists. Before earning his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Jazz Studies at the acclaimed University of North Texas, Aaron garnered international radio play as a vocalist and trumpeter, and worked with special event/dance bands as a first call frontman across the country.
Aaron Schumacher's voice can be heard on HBO and on TV commercials across the United States, and his performance credits include Ben Folds, Amanda Palmer, Ignacio Berroa, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and more. Aaron has also enjoyed performing for former President George W. Bush, a Dallas Cowboys halftime show, with Carnival Cruises, and for numerous music conferences and festivals. Although Schumacher performs chiefly as a vocalist, he is equally adept on trumpet and bass, and has also performed professionally on guitar, keyboard, percussion, flute, trombone, and even drumset.
Though music is at his core, Aaron also is a science and humanities/religion enthusiast, avid coffee drinker, and possesses a curiously energized sense for dance.
