His love me or leave me alone attitude personify to the listener that Jett Black is here to stay. [Background] Jett Black grew up in the hard streets of the District of Columbia. Jett Black was way ahead of his time being introduce to the music game by Mr. Lamar Lee of Maven Strategies, Saadiq B. of Hustle nation Enterprise/Wu Tang Clan, and Deon Williams of Black Collar Entertainment. Which Jett having being the first from the Nations capitol to achieve a national 25 city tour (Seagrams Gin Live 03') in 34 days. Along with heavy hitters “Lil’ Mo” and R&B sensation “Carl Thomas”. Also performing at the London’s Urban Music Awards 05',along with many over sea’s events, as well as , The Department of Labor showcase’s ,and even the House of Blues (CH, LA, NO). Having garnered an intense buzz with the classic “Mandingo”, Jett Black began focusing intensely upon his music career in general, and hip hop exclusively. Jett Black has appeared on several current project with WBC two time boxing champ Keith Holmes & George Clinton, D.C.1st Lady of rap Crysty Luv who has appeared on projects w/ Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z,& Memphis Bleek. And just recently fine tuning an up coming debut album entitled "Jett Black meets The Poo Poo Man", with legend Gene "King Poo Poo Man" Anderson of George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic. As Jett Black says, “I am always going to be true to where I came from. It is what I am. The streets are in me. It is something that anyone that comes from that environment can relate. It doesn’t matter where you are from. In any and every hood you are going to have the same set of situations. People may talk differently but at end of the day they all have the exact same situations.” [Influences] Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Scarface, N.W.A. , Tribe Called Quest, WuTang Clan and many other classic emcees have influenced Jett Black musically.
