After 14 years of blood, sweat, and tears, singer songwriter Adam Payne decided to give this music deal one more push. Adam courted a few fellow musicians around Athens, Ga looking for what he knew would fill his vision and Dangfly was born. In early 2012 Adam Payne, Jay Rodgers, Shawn Patrick, Scotty Nicholson, Benjamin Whitener, and Adam Poulin went work writing and performing. Dangfly quickly became an Athens staple blowing the doors off of the local bar scene, laying it down fast and hard. Eventually Dangfly rumors spread all the way to Waycross and it was on. With Jay Rodgers at the production helm and a little help from local hero Betsy Franck, Dangfly went into the studio at the end of the summer of 2012 and in April of 2013 out popped Dangfly’s first album, Good Luck, Curiosity. This captured perfectly the raw power, emotion, sarcasm, humor, and sensitivity of what is the seven headed beast, Dangfly! With a trumpet, a violin, a piano, a punk rock bass, a beast of a drummer, and a man child voice with all the range to make even Steve Perry jealous, Danglfy is well on their way to being then next big deal in a long line of seasoned, quirky, musicians from Athens, Ga.
