The origins of Let It Burn began in earnest in early 2011, when Toño Garcia-Romero, after having left Love Equals Death (Fat Wreck Chords) a few years early, had decided it was time to start a new project. After playing drums for several years, and having torn his rotator cuff, his time behind the drum kit, at least in a professional manor, was over and his tenure behind the guitar had just begun. After recording a few demos, he set out to look for other players who were interested in putting together a positive hardcore band. The first piece of the puzzle came with drummer Ron Roussell. After hearing the demos, Ron came down and brought a degree of skill and frantic energy to the songs. Next up was singer Tony Bonilla. After having decimated stages with his former band, The Sick (The Edge Records), Tony brought an unbridled degree of energy and passion that was exactly what was need to complete the lineup. The most recent addition to the band has been Sammy Diosdado who shared the stage with Tony in the Sick and most recently destroyed stages, world wide with Death Angel. He has brought a degree of musicianship and dedication to his craft that has only enhanced their sound. Look for Let It Burn everywhere in 2013.
