An Austin transplant, originally from Houston, TX, Tre Houston is an M.C. that undoubtedly stands out from all of the others. Since the age of 11, Tre has dedicated himself to the hip-hop genre and has become a dynamic performer whose rhythm, lyrics, and flow keep the audience on their toes and always asking for more. Tre Houston is musician trying to bring the art and style back to rap and he has the potential to succeed.
In 2011 Tre Houston graduated with a degree in Music Business from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time in college, Tre has made numerous music connections including songwriter and producer, Dave Tough. Soon after meeting, Houston and Tough began working together, along with singer, Mandi Casteel to create the upbeat tune titled “Vegas” which was featured in the CW Television show "Plain Jane." It was also featured in the film “As Luck” which will be shown at numerous film festivals in New York in addition to being nationally released in Bangladesh. Since then, Tre has rapidly taken off. He has been featured in numerous television shows, television ads, and films including multiple shows on the CW network including "Remodeled", NBC Sports, and national ads for "Pantene Pro V." Tre's song "Let's Get Crazy" can also be heard at the Kicker iPod Dock demo booth in an Sam's Club or Costco. Tre was also been selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwritering Competition for the song "Tell Ya That I Love Ya (The Wedding Song)".
As of now, Tre Houston is working with renowned Nashville producers Dave Tough and Tommy Smith on a brand new album titled "Make It Work". Tre is finishing up an EP title "Live From Nowhere" to be released for free before the release of "Make It Work." Tre is also spending his time performing at various venues around the Nashville and Austin areas. In addition to this work, Tre won the 2011 Belmont University Urban/Pop Showcase and then performed at the 2012 Best of the Best Showcase.
