Thomas Hubbard / Bio

Thomas Hubbard is a songwriting street performer based in Seattle, WA., where he has been engaged since 2008 with the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department as an independent musical contractor, providing a mellow Zen-like atmosphere to several of the gnarliest parks in downtown Seattle through that city's internationally acclaimed Busker Program.

In 2012, Hubbard's "Song for Seattle" was featured in an independent documentary about panhandling in Seattle called "Cardboard" by Matt Longmire.

Hubbard MCs regularly for Victory Music's open mic at the Q Cafe. He performs occasionally at various Seattle-area venues and local festivals. Hubbard's song, "Divining Rod" was a finalist in the 2009 Tumbleweed Festival Songwriting Contest.
