Nowadays Leo Diamondz is spending double time as a touring Dj under the alias Doc The Lion as well as spending time in the studio contributing production and feature vocals on upcoming projects with artists "Q", & "D. Dweller". Leo Diamondz is also currently working on his own sophomore R&B effort entitled "The Music The Maestro The Man" Leo Diamondz makes the music, makes believers, and makes it possible to indulge in real soul music . Born in Berkeley, California, but raised in Indianapolis, Indiana Leo DIamondz early music influence came from The Golden Era of Hip-Hop music in the 80's and early 90's along with Classic Soul/R&B of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Coming from a family of singers, a career in the entertainment industry was a virtual default as Leo Diamondz was already writing original songs at 10 years old. It was also about this time that Leo Diamondz developed a talent for writing lyrics as an MC as well as Dee Jaying neighborhood block parties. Leo Diamondz has participated in multiple specialty choirs/ensambles all through school, and various talent/variety showcases throughout the Midwest. While in high school and thereafter, Leo Diamondz had several opportunites to share the stage with some of the music industry's biggest names (mentioned below) Leo Diamondz describes his style as "A Contemporary Throwback", that's new music with an oldschool feel, so everyone will love it but the 25 and up crowd will love it the most. Leo Diamondz writes all and produces most of his own music.
