Bill Ungerman presents The New Recessionaires, a group that plays music of the 20's through the 50's and beyond. The New Recessionaires band is comprised of musicians who are old friends and past members of the group 'Royal Crown Revue'. Band leader Bill Ungerman plays saxophones and is known for his writing and arranging in the 'Royal Crown Revue'. On guitar is James Achor, co-author of 'Hey Pachuco'. On bass Veikko Lepisto, a roots man, who also plays with his own group 'The Fulltones'. On drums is the inimitable Willie McNeil who played with Bill in the band 'Jump With Joey' and is a band leader in his own right. On piano is Mike Boito, who also played in 'Jump With Joey' is a veteran musician who has played with too many people to mention and is always tasty. Fronting the band is the new sweetheart of song, Makinna Ridgway, who is a great vocalist and also a member of the 'Satin Dollz'. Hot jazz for hard times!
