Scinite is a hard rock band started in 2011 by 3 students from Skyline High School, Austin Lowrance, Chris Hart, and Andrew Pedroni, performing as a 3 piece until March of 2012 when they added Jimmy Goulding on the bass. Santiago Erazo replaced Andrew Pedroni in April 2012, and in December 2012 Moe Weisner stepped in to play bass after the band parted ways with Jimmy Goulding, and Nicki Michaels soon took over lead vocal duties, rounding out Scinite's current lineup. Their music combines elements of classic rock with elements of the blues and even some modern influences thrown in on top to create a rocking sound that is both a throwback to the golden age of rock n' roll as well as modern. The band's major influences include AC/DC, Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Jimi Hendrix Experience. The band has played in many venues in the Eastside/Seattle area, including The Old Redmond Firehouse, Rendezvous, The Black Dog Cafe, Ground Zero, the Sammamish EX3 Teen Center, El Corazon, and the annual Teenfest event at the Sammamish City Hall. On June 15th, 2012, the band released their debut EP "Some Kind Of Rock N' Roll" and are currently working on an album to be released next year. Their current lineup consists of Austin Lowrance on lead guitar, Nicki Michaels on Lead Vocals, Chris Hart on guitar, Moe Weisner on Bass, and Santiago Erazo on drums.
