Chris started playing guitar at age 13. He attributes most of his skill to five years of private instruction with Peter Vogl and lots of friendly competition with his brother Lee. He graduated with honors from the Atlanta Institute of Music. He, and his brother Lee, were in a graduating class of 14 people that started out with 80 students. Chris has been in several Atlanta based original bands, most notable of which were Pound and Superconductor. He also taught guitar lessons for six years. Chris is currently the guitarist for a touring party band called Rhythm Nation, along with good ol' brother Lee on bass. He has been with Rhythm Nation for 17 years. Chris is currently writing instrumental rock material for possible future release.
