Born in Rochester, New York, now residing in Manhattan, pianist and singer/songwriter Frankie Favasuli began writing and composing original music at the age of 13. Today you can hear Frankie accompanied by drummer Brendan McGuckin and bassist Richard Emery in any number of New York City venues.
Their unique pop sound contains elements of rock and roll, funk, jazz, blues and hip-hop. When seen performing live, Frankie Favasuli and The Big Tree Band provide an intimate experience between themselves and the audience, with songs that capture thought and feeling. It’s hard to put your finger on the specific style of music they deliver, but easy to put your finger on the pulse. Frankie’s expressive lyrics evoke emotion, portraying the experiences we all go through in our everyday lives. Together the music and lyrics form a sound that has been described as “simply complex.”
Frankie Favasuli and The Big Tree Band create music that comes straight from the heart; with a sound that is constantly growing like the people and the trees around us.
