Cara Mitchell is a 17 year old singer-songwriter from Aberdeen.
In the short space of time she has been playing shows, Cara has already created something of a buzz in her home city and much further beyond.
Cara has already secured support slots with the likes of Emeli Sande, Gemma Hayes, Juan Zelada, Rachel Sermanni, Pearl & The Puppets, Jonah Matranga, The Coronas, Dave McPherson (InMe), Jake Morley, Stephen Fretwell, James Mackenzie, The 1930s and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), as well as performing in the 2011 Sound Festival. She completed her first mini tour in August 2012 and her first full UK tour with Esperi took place over September and October to promote the debut EP 'Have You Ever Wondered'.
In 2013, Cara has been touring once more, this time with English singer, Charlotte Carpenter. Early in the year she was asked to perform a four song set for BBC Television and as a result was also asked back to perform on the live radio show on BBC Radio Scotland hosted by Vic Galloway.
Her short, whirlwind career hit a high in April 2013 when she was asked to be main support to Emeli Sande at a sold out Aberdeen Music Hall (1600 cap) for AEG Live.
The follow up single 'Pick Up The Pace/Paint Them Red' was released on May 3rd and is available now from all webistes.
