Oklahoma City blues band The Younglings have been together since the spring of 2011. Having no drummer the band took it upon themselves to fashion kick pedals to make the beat. They released their debut album entitled "Bad At Being Good" in the summer of 2012. The album has been played on local radio stations and has garnished them a following in the local scene.
After a revamp in the fall of 2012 the band moved its lead singer to drums to continue the two piece musical onslaught. The band has taken influences from bands such as Manchester Orchestra, The Black Keys and The Queens of the Stone Age. With their new musical setup they are focusing on a new album to be released in the spring of 2013.
