FOOCH The MC / Bio

Picture this: lyricism, wit, style, attack, delivery and the ability to rock over any beat are all qualities possessed by the Chicago native Fooch the MC. Now residing in S.E. Iowa, Fooch began his career in 2008 when he was featured on Kidz in the Hall's sophomore album, In Crowd. He then began being featured on many mix tapes and prominent blogs such as Coast to Coast mix tapes, fakeshoredrive and gowherehiphop. In the summer of 2009, Fooch started hip hop band Purple Asteroid Cadillac, which rapidly gained a strong local following, playing nearly 100 shows and shared the stage with acts such as Warren G, Afro Man, Kidz in the Hall, PAC Div, and Curtain$. Fooch then released Classic Made, his first official mix tape in the fall of 2010. He followed with his second mix tape, Rhythm N Bars, in the fall of 2011. Fooch's band then released their debut album, Take Shape, through a world wide distribution deal with Mondo Tunes late 2012. At the beginning of 2013 Fooch released a new song every Monday for 30 weeks straight in a series called New Music Mondays. Later in the year he dropped several features with artist such as Naledge, ADD-2 and Omekka(FamSquad). Fooch is currently working on some timeless material and is getting guidance and assistance from major record producer, Keeynote, to give you his next project, Transparent, due to release later. At the same time he has formed the rapper producer duo Strangers Of Necessity(S.O.N.) with upcoming producer CoryAyo and they are set to release an Ep summer 2014. Fooch has his hands full with two other side projects in the works as well. If you are a true fan of authentic Hip-Hop, keep a watchful eye out for Fooch as he eagerly awaits his time to shine.
