Taylor Lewis is a 20-year-old singer, songwriter, and performer. Taylor was born in Dallas, Texas on November 15, 1995. His love of singing began when he discovered he had a voice. He was raised listening to George Strait, James Taylor, and Queen, to name a few.
Taylor has always been a part of a choir or singing group. He began children’s choir at church at the age of three. He participated in his elementary school’s honor choir and continued to stay in choir all throughout middle school. He was in Acapella choir beginning his freshman year of high schooland he made the school’s show choir group, Encore - rocking the stage his junior and senior year.
In high school (Horn High School in Mesquite, TX), Taylor was on the varsity soccer team, kicking for the varsity football team, and a member of the National Honor Society and Student Leadership. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He lead worship at his church and participated in all of the church’s youth events.
This young talent has sang all over the state of Texas, performing in various competitions including the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame where he placed 3rd out of approximately 75 contestants, Texaco Country Showdown in Carthage where he placed 3rd, Small Town Big Talent where he placed 1st and 3rd, Budding Talent singing contest at the Richardson Wildflower Festival, where he was a finalist for his age group and placed 1st place in his high school talent show.
Taylor is one of the Headliners at Cowboys Red River, one of the biggest Honky Tonks in Texas. When he's not performing and connecting with his audience, he's songwriting. He's in the process now of finalizing recordings of some of his orginal songs. He just recently finished filming his first music video.
Taylor is a member of Tunes For Tots - a community of extraordinarily talented musicians that have come together, as a team, in cities around the world, to produce events that benefit children’s charities.
Taylor is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
His combination of charm, outgoing personality, natural athleticism, and exceptional vocals is inspiring quite a following. With a loving and supporting family behind him, Taylor is always writing new songs and working on his music career.
