The Naked Tree / Bio

Tyrone Maximillian Tekavec (born March 12, 1979) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, dj and leader of a multi-genre' alternative band called "The Naked Tree". Ty is a DJ of electronic music by trade, which he has done since 1994, but in 2011 Ty branched out to explore music in his own right with "The Naked Tree".

Tekavec began creating music early in life as well, with insperation stemming from his Uncle's "Lee Cox" band " Attack Decay. Other influences at an early age came from the industrial music genre. Tekavec also started DJing in night clubs in Pueblo, CO -Evolution Night Club (1994-1997) and then later moved to Denver, CO where Tekavec held long term residencies at clubs Tracks 2000 (1997-2000), Vinyl Night Club (2000-2003), The Church Night Club (2002-2004), Jet Hotel and Wicked Garden (2005-present). Tekavec also traveled as a regular dj in the Electronic Music circuit across the America's and overseas. Tekavec appeared in "Westword Magazine" as a staple in Colorado's electronic music scene.

In 2011 Tekavec embarked on his first album under the moniker "The Naked Tree". A project stemming from a personal experience he had one early morning, giving him the need to explore what he'd encountered. He says " What I experienced, changed my life forever. Not only that, but the experience continues on to this day." thus "The Naked Tree" music concept was started. NT consists of compositions and tracks working in multi-genre's, opening a new foundation for live shows and releases, focusing on the mysticism of life.

The Naked Tree is a band born out of exploring the depth of life and the unpredictable nature of future, all the while knowing whatever may be coming, was already on it's way.
