Kristina Bill / Bio

"Music is to me the universal language. It connects me with my humanity as my beating heart provides me with my life force. I cannot find a more worthy pursuit."

Kristina is a Swedish born Singer, Songwriter and Actress. She started her career in 1996 by recording for Stockholm Records, acting in drama productions on Swedish Network Television and in voice overs. In 1998 Kristina moved to London, where she continued to write and record music and starred in a number of plays, feature films and short films (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0082287/).

Her first solo album, Rainbow Heart, built on the foundation of Swedish folk and roots music to explore a more experimental and personal journey. It was recorded and released in 2010 with Velvetine Records, with whom Kristina continues to collaborate to produce remixes. In these recently released club-mixes, Kristina has seamlessly swapped her signature nordic inner-calm for dark dancey vibes, upbeat house flavours and emotive, alternative club grooves. Kristina has collaborated with artists such as Neil Luckett, Analog Dog, Primal Coda, Tonicbreaks, Eddy Fingers and Mark Lord (see www.kristinabill.com).

Rooftop Records, whom Kristina collaborates with currently, is the independent production unit set up by acclaimed song writer Carl Falck (One Direction, Nicole Scherzinger). Rooftop are committed to helping Kristina develop a broad-range of new material with the aim of managing her process of artistic development and to build a strong concept behind each facet of her new material. Kristina will be collaborating and working with Carl and other artists under the Rooftop Umbrella. Her second and third albums are due for release in 2012.
