Biography: Dan DeVault
As a young boy in the small town of Loudonville Ohio, Dan knew he had a passion for music. On a fall night at the Perrysville street fair, his Aunt Barb Lape of “The Country Persuaders” a country band very popular at the time, pulled him on the stage in the middle of their show, and asked him to sing a song. He sang the well know song “God bless the USA” by Lee Greenwood. As the crowd stood at the end of the song and began to clap, Dan knew then and there that he would never be satisfied doing anything else! As a teenager Dan continued to perform at various venues including Huntsinger Park, Loudonville Street fair, Wayne county fair, Perrysville fair, and many more locations. As a young teenager He also competed in the Ohio country and western association’s country music contest and won the title of state junior prince. After taking the title, many more doors to the country music world opened, including being signed to a mid-level record label. Now many years later Dan and his wife Amanda DeVault have gathered together a group of very talented musicians with a total of 30 years of experience to form the group, “The DeVault Ridge Band”. They play a fresh blend of today’s country hits, and a few of the old country classics that everyone loves!
Biography: Amanda DeVault
Raised in Ontario Ohio, Amanda has kept her beautiful voice hidden from the world. Showcasing it in Show choir, and school functions. Her family has known since she was very young that she had a voice unlike others. She has a very soft yet powerful voice, enabling her to perform a wide variety of music, including anything from Patsy Cline, to Lady Antebellum. In 2011, Amanda joined her husband Dan DeVault and a group of very talented musicians in creating “The DeVault Ridge Band”. Since then, Amanda has now opened up to the country music world to showcase her voice to as many fans as possible. Amanda performs music both new and old and looks forward to many performances yet to come!
