Up and Coming 18 year old from Columbus, Ohio.
Starting at a young age, I took music up within my everyday life, whether it was mimicking MJ's moves on the TV screen, teaching myself songs on my Grandma's piano, or trying to form bands with my friends, I was always into it. During a rough time in middle school, I took to writing poetry, just to free my mind of some of the things I was going through. Freshman year, I was kickin it with some of my buddies in my friends basement, and we started having a little freestyle session. I busted out a rhyme, and they really liked it. From then on, I started writing my own raps, modeling them mostly after Drake, Lil Wayne, and Eminem's flow. I released a "mini-mixtape" with 5 covered songs, that I had recorded through Audacity. It was entitled "Awake" Eventually, I started to gain my own flow, and really started to develop my own sound. This is when I put out my 2nd mixtape, my sophomore year which I engineered in my basement called "Awake II". I decided to finally invest time in a really nice studio, so I went to a place called Oranjudio Studios, and laid down the best tracks that I had. The tracks from this session ended up becoming "Making Progress", my third little project that dropped Junior Year. Since then, I've been writing and recording my next mixtape, which is bound to be the best yet. "Hieroglyphs" drops June 2013!
