Ryan Cregan has been entertaining the people of Blackpool and further a field since he was just 7 years old Singing, Dancing and performing in Theatre; including an amazing half time performance at Preston Football Ground to 12,000 people.
Ryan was signed to a Independent music label in March 2010 and since then he has been very busy with events, recording and learning the piano. Ryan, now aged 17, has shared the stage with the likes of Lisa Scott-Lee (Steps), Joe McElderry, Electrovamp and Tom Milner to name a few.
Ryan released his debut single in November 2010 in aid of Children in Need. His launch party was at the Excelsior, Blackpool where he was joined by new girl band the Bon Bonz and Tony Adkins who worked as Simon Cowell’s minder on the X-Factor, performing to a capacity crowd.
In November 2011, Ryan was to make his 2nd release a 4 track EP with the title song "No One but You" (only the good die young) a re-release in memory of Freddie Mercury celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the passing of Queen's iconic front man...Ryan got full support & permission from EMI who are Queens management & the launch was very successful. The local papers got involved too & the headline was "It's a Kind of Magic".
2012 continued to be a very busy time for your Ryan with many events throughout the country, it was also a time for Ryan to experience a different side of the music industry and to use some of his previously gained experience taking part as a judge in a local talent contest for 10 weeks. In September of 2012, Ryan started at Blackpool Sixth Form College studying for a Triple Music Diploma and also a course on Classical Civilisation...history being one of Ryan's other loves.
Now in 2013, Ryan is still busy with academical studies but still finds time to gig locally and collaborate with many new and well established artists within the music industry. He also a very active member of the Sixth Form Choir who in July will be taking there music to Italy to showcase their talents. Ryan is also writing his own new material, & will be recording a single at the end of this month. The single is now an EP with 6 tracks Called 'Natural Disaster' to which Ryan & his mate Oliver collaborated & came up with 2 original songs, they are hoping to raise some kind of funding from the EP sales to help them both with University costs.
