Hunting Charo is not your run-of-the-mill cover band. They're not currently playing full 3-set shows, but will hook up and split shows with just about anyone, anywhere, anytime.
A Hunting Charo show, however, is not for sissies. This band is kind of like the kid that used to punch you in the stomach and steal your lunch money. With a wall of up to 3 guitars, thunderous drums, and a gut-rumbling low end, Hunting Charo plays aggressive, powerful songs that pump your adrenaline. You won't hear "Brown Eyed Girl" or "Old Time Rock & Roll" from HC. No way. Instead, you'll be hit with tunes like "Hell Yeah" by Rev Theory, "Rope" by Foo Fighters, "Monkey Business" by Skid Row, and Motorhead's "Ace Of Spades." With a selection like that, you won't find Hunting Charo playing any church bake sales!
Hunting Charo's band members have been around the block. With experience in other bands such as Wicked Lily, Rock Candy, Zombie Cucumber, Dove Load, LUBE, Johnny Law, Shock Radio, and Pink Houses, Hunting Charo brings a positive attitude, quality gear, and a sense of professionalism to every show. Tammy & Jenny provide strong lead vocals and killer harmonies. Wendy blisters the fret boards of her guitars and has the scorch marks to prove it. Stevie B is strong and steady on the drums and brings a little William Shatner to the microphone. Andy's vocals have been described as "James Hetfield ordering a cup of coffee", which is why he plays bass. Like I said, Hunting Charo is not your average cover band.
Hunting Charo has members residing in the Madison, Janesville, and Rockford areas, so they cover a lot of turf. With a demo recorded and currently being finalized, HC is ready to hit the scene at full speed.
When you want to hear something that hits hard, that isn't a regurgitation of classic rock radio, something that will get your juices flowing and leave you out of breath, check out Hunting Charo!
