The Branco Heist are a London based three-piece rock band, with Stan Slawinski on guitar, Ross Hampton on drums and Al McHardy on bass.
2012 has been a busy year for them, and having built a reputation as one of the capital’s most scintillating live acts, they are currently recording their debut album, set for release in spring 2013.
Aside from trips to the continent to perform to their growing fanbase in cities such as Oslo, Brussels and Dublin, they released the single ‘Brothers’ on May 28th.
Brothers was released on the back of a comprehensive UK tour, culminating in a launch to a packed Café 1001 on Brick Lane, London.
Promo for the single includes a fantastic video, produced by acclaimed director Trevor Melvin, and which is currently being shown across Arcadia Group’s instore screens, and Virgin Megastores.
The Branco Heist have gained airplay and made radio appearances (for live sessions and interviews) across a range of stations including BBC London, Radio Prime Network (Norway), Strongroom Radio, Hoxton FM, Harborough FM, SW1 Radio and Bristol Community Radio, to name a few.
Recent press and online coverage includes features in Independent Music News, God is in the TV, The London Word, Hit The Floor magazine, The Music Press, Mudkiss, and Migmag Ones to Watch.
The band are most at home playing blistering live shows and have performed at a number of unique events across the summer, including the Indie Soccer Six charity football tournament, Zoo Lates at London Zoo, Rivington Street Festival, Glomma Festival (Norway), Wilkestock, Amble by The Park, South West Fest, and Testival.
The Branco Heist will be announcing plans for a new autumn release very soon.
