Muffler Men is a power trio from Ghent, Belgium, with a super-tight music line. Their alternative rock is solid, and leans towards stoner rock.
During the summer of 2008, autodidacts Steve De Vlieger and Dirk Legiest found each other from their joint metal background, after which their shared musical passion led to an explosive
evolution. Soon thereafter, bass player Jelle Van Lysebettens (Mary & Me, Waldorf) joined them.
During the spring of 2011, the band entered the studio to record their debut album “Trigger and Fly”. For this album, they collaborated with Tony De Block (Hooverphonic) and Werner Pensaert (U2, Rammstein, and others) for the recording and mix. Brian Gardner (Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, David Bowie, and others) provided the mastering.
