Singer/songwriter, father and husband Jason Blaine was born and raised in Pembroke, ON Canada. After moving to Nashville, TN in 2006, he signed with Anchor Down Entertainment & New Millennium Music resulting in the highly successful “Make My Move” produced by Phil O’Donnell & Noah Gordon released on eOne Music Canada (formerly Koch). Since its debut, Jason has been at the top of the Canadian country music charts on both radio and CMT Canada, earning nominations from the CCMA for “Rising Star” (2007 & 2008) and “Male Artist of the Year” (2009).
Notable Top 10 hits include: Rock in my boot (#1 CMT Video), Flirtin’ with me (#1 CMT video), My First Car (Top 5 CMT Video), Good Day to Get Gone, & Give it to Me (Top 5 CMT Video).
The self-produced follow-up record "Sweet Sundown", released in March 2010, turned out three hit singles & videos including Numb (Top 10), Run With Me (Top 20), & Hillbilly Girl (Top 30) and in 2011 earned Jason a nomination for Producer of the Year from the CCMA.
Past performances highlights include: Opening act for Tim McGraw (Sarnia Bayfest 2009), Brooks & Dunn (Last Rodeo Canada Tour 2010), Ottawa Capital Hoedown with Billy Currington, Miranda Lambert, & Carrie Underwood (2011).
Currently, the new record and third release on eOne Music Canada, “Life So Far” is available in stores and iTunes. The single, “They Don’t Make Em Like That Anymore, which Jason wrote about his grandparents, is climbing the charts on the radio and CMT and striking an emotional chord with his fans.
