South of 70 / Bio

Jeremy (Governor) Lloyd is a singer/songwriter from Southern Illinois who is recognized for his dark and introspective lyrics. He plays rythm acoustic guitar and harmonica in live performances.

Jeff "Smokehouse" Miller is the bass player who drives the bus, the rest of us just hang on for the ride.

Jeff (Catfish) Bradley is the band's lead guitar player and is known for his entertaining vocal stylings. His signature look includes a set of ray-bans, a cigarette-holding capo, and one bad-ass moustache.

John (Big Sound) Shadowens is the drummer. Tasty, frenetic and about as subtle as Rosie O'Donnell in a Buddhist monastery.

South of 70 Emeritus:
Charles T. Lueker is an eclectic singer/songwriter as well as a producer/arranger. He plays bass, acoustic guitar, honky tonk piano, and fiddle. His songwriting styles can be sentimental, comical, or balls-to-the-wall rockabilly.

Del (Hack Harbor) Herbert gained recognition in the 70's as lead guitar player for the band Farm. These days he plays banjo, sports a suave superman shirt complete with jacket, and can be found giving spontaneous guitar & banjo concerts at random wineries.
