The New Piccadillys / Bio

"The best cover version ever" - Ed Stasium (The Ramones producer)

"What an absolute corker!" - Jim Gellatly (Amazing Radio)

THE NEW PICCADILLYS are a four piece beat group from Glasgow, Scotland combining a 1960s sound with a 1970s punk rock sensibility. Twanging guitars and pounding drums provide the backing for their tight harmony beat versions of classics such as The Ramones’ Judy is a Punk and many other Rock ‘n’ Roll treasures from various eras all given THE NEW PICCADILLYS infectiously fresh treatment.

George Miller : Lead guitar/vocals
George has played with a variety of bands and artists from Sharleen Spiteri to Jayne County and the Electric Chairs. His beat combo The Kaisers gathered a worldwide cult following in the ‘90s and early 2000s.

Keith Warwick : Rhythm Guitar/vocals
Remembered by many as Johnny McRotten of the dangerously authentic Scottish Sex Pistols, Keith is both musician and actor and is frequently caught red handed signing autographs for fans of ITVs My Parents Are Aliens.

Mark Ferrie: Bass guitar/backing vocals
A former member of both the Kaisers and the Scottish Sex Pistols, Mark has always been the bassist of choice for many Rock ‘n’ Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Punk and Ska Bands in Scotland, Mark is now a full time New Piccadilly, so hands off!

Michael Goodwin: Drums
Michael’s drumming credits include re-formed Scottish ‘60s legends the Poets, Edinburgh’s the Thanes and surf instrumental band Preston Pfanz and the Seton Sands.
