I've been playing bass since I was 14, I started out on guitar about two weeks befor but a Banjo Player from The Grass Holes gave me one piece of sage advice that stuck with me," Guitarists are a dime a dozen, a good bass player is hard to find." and almost ten years latter it still rings true. My style is mostly drawn from my influences, Like The Grateful Dead, Led Zepplin, Thinn Lizzy, Moe, Phish, Pink Floyd The Allman Brothers Band, The Moody Blues, Stevie Ray, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Canned Heat, Jefferson Airplane, and pretty much all the heavy music from the 60's and 70's.
since moving to portland on 4/14/2010, Ive tried to keep myself busy with music, ether practicing or working on tunes with other bands. I started off playing with Stoney Holliday, a Psycadellic Honky Funk band that had just moved to Portland, after that I played Bass for Macy Bensley for about 9 months then I went to Baton Rouge La, to tour with Henry Tuner Jr and Flavor for a couple months in the summer of 2011. fall of 2011 I started playing with the guys in ZenThesis, shortly after that I met up with the guys in the jam band now know as THE REAL. Summer 2012, big things are coming, I can feel it!
