Songwriter brothers Rocky and Brandon Lee Tallent have been performing together since their teens. A musical upbringing equal parts church house (preachin' daddy) and honky-tonk (2-steppin granny), the Tallent Brothers write songs that reflect a variety of influences and explore a wide range of musical and lyrical themes. Relying on both acoustic and electric instruments to create a soundbed for their narratives, the Tallent Bros make music with no defined boundaries, taking the traditional forms of their influences to their own sonic conclusions. This willingness to follow the muse has lead Rocky and Brandon Lee Tallent on a journey that has included stops in Woodstock, NY, where they worked with Levon Helm, participating in the making of Helms' final studio album Electric Dirt, to a recent stint as the backing band of legendary country music outlaw David Allan Coe. Where it takes them next is anyone's guess. . .
