This Fair City / Bio

This Fair City is:
Jason Charles Franklin - Vocals, Guitar
Charlotte "Brandi" Grahek - Viola, Vocals
Alex Deupree - Bass, Vocals
Robin Marshall - Drums, Cello

From Portland, Oregon, This Fair City pulls influences from classical, early 90s modern rock, dream pop, blues, foot-stomping dirty rock 'n roll, and other genres in between. They shift from catchy melodies, harmonies, and beauty, to fits of power and unyielding emotion.

The band has reworked their sound over the last few years, adding more strings, and the aforementioned harmonies, filling out the sound in an attempt to create something unique, yet recognizable, possibly (hopefully) enjoyable, but always true to their hearts.

This Fair City have played many venues throughout the NorthWest and are looking to expand further.

Releases include:
Demonstration - EP (2007) recorded by Japhy Riddle (Cadet, Birds Have Maps)

Broken Surfaces - EP (2009) recorded by Adam Bradley Pike (Red Fang, Black Elk)

In the Pines - single (2009) recorded by Adam Bradley Pike

Battle of Evermore - single (2012) recorded by Tom Van Riper (Tommy Tutone, Sugar Tits, Tuesday's Project)

They've been featured on the compilations:
We Rock for Food (2008)
CD Baby Worker's Comp Volume 1 (2009)

Currently the band is recording full length album with Tom Van Riper.
