Little Red Kings are a group of five dedicated musicians based around Norwich, Norfolk. Each with their own history of touring with successful bands.
A vision of alternative roots rock brought the five band members together, and with a powerful live show they haven't looked back. Their music combines a gritty, earthy quality, reminiscent of British classic blues rock bands of the 70's. With Strong melodies and elements of modern alternative rock, Little Red Kings are a band that appeals to a wide range of audience.
Over the years ,the band has built a strong, and loyal following, through frequent gigging in East Anglia, The Midlands and excursions south, Their live shows are proof that these dedicated musicians, are not simply "in a band", but are actually " living for the band". Their performances are a show full of heart and soul ,with just enough spontaneity to keep crowds coming back again and again.....and again.
In 2016 the band designed and built their own fully functioning studio (Goat Pen Studios),as a base to write, rehearse and record. 2017 will see the release of their eagerly awaited 3rd studio album, a "rootsy, tootsy", rocking , rolling ,modern take, on a classic rock, rhythm and blues album. Full of grooving beats, epic guitar riffs, soulful, gravel throated vocals and anthemic choruses, this album is sure to please.
Released on CD, vinyl and digital download, early sales are expected in the thousands, reflecting sales of previous studio and live album releases.
Jason Wick, is the groups founder member, lead vocalist, and guitarist. Scotsman Dougie Archer, adds guitar and front-man quality back up vocals. Ben Beach, runs a tight bottom end on Bass. Kiwi keys-man, John Pallister, sings backing vocals, whilst tinkling the ivory substitutes, and anything else he can get his hands on. And Finally Harry Wickham on drums, seemingly born in the wrong decade, keeping the whole thing, tight enough, loose enough, and crazy enough.
