joebryant. is a musician from the suburbs of St Louis, Missouri. Starting a musical career at a very young age with nothing more than himself and his guitar. He left solo ventures in the dark until 2011, when he began releasing some songs outside of the moniker The Icarus Secret. Releasing several demos that were poorly produced, as he played around with learning his way around mixing. Later, he re-vamped his solo work with the release of an EP entitled "Four Tracks" which showed a more developed sound with a hint of a new flavor, from his stark over use of shaky vocals and metallic reverb. Shortly, after that release he dropped the EP "When This Ends You'll Remember Everything, That You Tried So Hard To Start Forgetting", which featured the older sound with the edition of his Emo influences. Following that release he toured for a while with friends and ended up releasing another EP the follow October entitled "Life in the Midwest". This EP featured two songs to be released on the album "My Wayward Life: Letter's I Meant To Send" which was also announced with the EP's release and has been postponed. A few months later he released his first full-length compilation in spring 2014 entitled "i guess, i'll go home" which was written as a concept album that he had recorded and mixed with a Tascam 4 track machine. Letting that sink in for a few months, he dropped his sophomore album "When This Ends It Will Begin Again" which once again plays in to the sound featured in the EP with a similar title. As for the future, he will be releasing the "Homes for Ghost" EP which is set to be his final EP before releasing the third full-length "My Wayward Life" in 2015.
